Jason Cirillo is an award-winning designer, entrepreneur and web show host/historian with a penchant for the obscure, the weird and the delightful.
Jason began his foray into the world of gaming on a professional level in 2002, with his creation of Robotube Games, a small company specializing in casual game development. In 2006, his reflex-puzzle game, Zyrx, won an award for excellence and innovation in mobile games at the South by Southwest Film Festival. In 2007, he took the prestigious “Business New Haven Rising Stars” award for his work with Robotube Games. And, recently, in July of 2009, his show Bit Museum won the NATPE/LATVFest award in the Documentary & News category, sponsored by TruTV. From 2007 to 2008, Jason was invited to be an adjunct professor of online game creation at the Sacred Heart University in Fairfield, CT.
Currently, Jason focuses much of his attention on production of Bit Museum as well as innovative and fun new casual games for the Apple iPhone and iPod Touch platforms, for sale on Apple’s App Store. He resides in Connecticut most of the time, but spends a lot of time with his extended family in Japan.
